Postdoctoral Training Program Department of Dermatology Postdoctoral positions are currently available for studies relating to the molecular and cellular basis of skin biology. Fellowships are available for study in several areas of cutaneous biology, including inflammation, angiogenesis, melanoma tumorigenesis, and autoimmune disorders of the skin. Additional research efforts extending beyond the basic sciences are directed at health services research, quality of life assessment, efficacy assessment, and cost-effectiveness analyses. The Department of Dermatology maintains an active research and training program that includes an NIH sponsored interdisciplinary training program in cutaneous biology, a Skin Diseases Research Core Center, the Emory Center for Outcomes Research, The Clinical Pharmacology Unit, and a variety of investigator-initiated research programs.
